I was not impressed, when he apologised, because he had done nothing wrong. In fact, what he had said initially was admirable. Now, though, he comes across as pathetic and unprincipled.

Oh boy, cancel culture is alive and kicking still, I was hoping this woke madness slowing down but it seems we have a way to go before the crazies get bored of this and find another way of silencing the sensible people. It is seriously depressing, when will this end?

His few words were embarrassing. What a terrible shame he didn't have the moral courage to ignore the bullies.

It seems we are all being blackmailed by the hard leftist ideologies, like demonstrators against illegal immigrants wearing masks because they fear for their jobs.

This will not stop unless we all stand up for truth and look the bullies in the eye.

As Mr Knightly said to Emma " poorly done Emma" poorly done Ed.

Once it started he was doomed...apologising never ever works with the left...they smell blood and attack more. He should have vetted who he had as support, Mr M has form and I think Ed thought it would be good to support M & the other groups. I hope they are not booked again and many performers will now be looking at their plans twice. Money talks, there will be a lot lost on this tour and then there will be the compensation for performers unable to use free speech.

I don't see why we have to listen to "celebrities'" opinion on anything! If I buy a concert ticket, I go for the music, not a lecture on whatmy political response to world events should be. Can we get some sanity back, please??
