We do not want foreign care workers. Too many can’t speak English well if at all..Their understanding of care needs especially the elderly is lacking in comprehension. I speak from personal experience of two family members who received awful treatment from them.. Older people are often partially deaf and can’t understand their dialects. No consideration is given to the patient. It has to stop! We need to train our own people with good English and pay a living wage that they can survive on.

There was a (I think) GB News article on the ~250 high value visas sponsored by 40 odd businesses on one high street in North London, to work in fast food or convenience stores.
It may not be fraud (I can believe the rules are lax enough to allow this) but, as a minimum, check on the arrivals after 6, 12, 18 months and if they're not earning at least thd high value salary required, then they and their dependents have to leave. Plus the sponsor has to pay the lost tax plus a fine for each one.

Nope.
It used to be that British citizenship was respected, now it's something expected with no respect to British values or culture.

If we have to fill the need for care workers I'd rather they be European. At least they'll be culturally similar to the British.
