Bonus: You never know who you'll meet

When Michael Murphy met comedy writer Lee Kern and filmmaker Joseph Cohen in an evacuated Kibbutz

We were touring the abandoned Metsuva Kibbutz, just 2km from Israel’s border with Lebanon, while filming what became Guardians of Israel, when we came across the comedy writer Lee Kern and filmmaker Joseph Cohen, known for his extensive work with the Campaign Against Antisemitism. They had also been touring the country, filming as they went.

We filmed the conversation, and have decided to put it out in full on Substack. Michael wanted to know what brought them out there, why they’ve decided to move from the UK to Israel and whether they’ve had to pay a price for their advocacy.

Not to be missed.
