You left out the best option - keep the straits blockaded until not just the Iranians, but the slave states of the Gulf as well, are terminally weakened, and alternative sources of oil and gas have been opened up. A portion of every dollar that goes to the Gulf - and particularly to Qatar - is used to finance a global war: mass murders of Christians in Africa, terrorism everywhere from India to Europe, the US and Australia, the subversion of Western education systems, mass illegal immigration, the murder of Jews everywhere and the corruption of our institutions and politicians. We may not think we're at war with Islam - but Islam sure as hell thinks it's at war with us. Let's stop paying for our own annihilation
